A little about Chris Arnold

As a brief over-view I am male, born November 1980. I'm originally from the Midlands in the UK, but after moving around Staffordshire and Lincoln, I finally settled in Bristol. I work for a large company designing, building, account managing, project managing, implementing and launching websites.

I see myself as a bit of a perfectionist. This can be a major drawback a lot of the time, being a hindrance as well as an aid. When I am working on a project I tend to be constantly tweaking little bits until I am satisfied with the result. A problem arises here, to anyone else the work would seem fine. But to me, all I see is tiny imperfections that could be improved. Even moving a line on a drawing by a few pixels to the left or right would make a total difference.

When it comes to my personal design preferences, simplicity is key, I hate over crowded designs that use too many different colours or a design that is too busy. This web site is a classic example of my design preference. A Large motif and lots of white space providing a fresh design that is able to breathe, with uncluttered content spaced out with minimal distractions. This allows the reader to focus in the content and absorb the information easier with no distractions to draw the attention away.
